Data & privacy

  • Live measurements and positions are kept for 31 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Incident dossiers are kept for 2 years — longer while a police or insurer reference is attached to them.
  • Drivers only see the trucks they are assigned to. This is enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the app.
  • Owners and fleet managers see the whole fleet.
  • TruckGuard support can open your fleet view to help you, and cannot change your company details. Every time we open one of your incident dossiers it is recorded in that dossier’s own history, where you can see it.
